Greg graduated from Colgate University with degrees in Neuroscience and Music. After gaining experience in Sony Music’s art department, Greg started Tandem Digital in 2000, and became active in film & television visual effects and title design. Tandem became a trusted resource for producers and directors, as well as concert video directors – creating stunning concert animations for Rock & Roll giants RUSH and KISS, as well as fabrication and set designs for Neil Peart’s incredible “Time Machine” drumset.

More recently Greg has directed branded experiences for some of the biggest companies in the world, such as GE, Microsoft and Disney.

From the development of initial concepts to the production of polished showpieces, Greg works with Event Producers, Fortune 500 Corporations, popular music groups and agencies – with an unwavering focus on achieving a unique vision for each brand/experience.

Vello Virkhaus

Partner | Creative Director

Vello is a native of Kalamazoo Michigan, and a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Early in his career, Vello crafted a niche in the entertainment world by establishing himself as one of the early pioneers in the art of VJ’ing live shows. Through his company V Squared Labs, Vello evolved his approach to include interactive, custom programmed experiences, always pushing the boundaries of available technologies and creative to new heights. Through the years, Virkhaus has produced some of the most successful and well-known immersive concert visuals and 3D projection mapped experiences, including Amon Tobin’s ISAM, Blizzcon Starcraft events, NBC Heroes, The Skrillex Cell, The Krewella Volcano, Infected Mushroom Tours, The Datsik Vortex and many more. Vello leads Tandem/VSL projects bi-coastally and internationally, and still enjoys rocking sets at the biggest Ultra Festival shows worldwide.

Jeff Blum

Director | Designer | Brand Manager | Marketing specialist

With well over a decade at the Walt Disney Company and a total of 20 years within the entertainment industry, Jeff has developed, managed and designed for some of the biggest brands within consumer products. Jeff was also responsible for coordinating strong relationships between Disney, PIXAR and its licensee design teams with proven results.

Jeff has consistently raised the bar and quality of any given franchise, producing more efficient in-house processes, with strengths in Design, 360 Marketing, Brand Management, Creative Direction, Packaging, and Product Development.

A conceptual and strategic thinker, Jeff is not only hands-on, but is also able to direct and get the best out of any design team. A proficient song writer also, Jeff spent some time in the music business when he was signed to a record deal at Island Life Records to record and produce an album.
